Savage 99's are classic I like those too. There are a lot of Savage 99's, Winchester 94's and Marlins floating around MI, actually Weatherby was really popular there too.

You spelled safe wrong
I dug out my Marlin 25MN out of the safe to mount a scope. Trigger was as bad as I remember so did some research and found a replacement from Riflebasix. It now has an adjustable trigger set a 2.2 lbs. Just need to sight it in.

Nah, I'm good. I rarely shoot .45 any more due to my wrist issues, so the Garrison I have is more than enough. Thanks for the reminder though...
They do get crazy. Glasses or just exam get expensive? I've found Costco to have really good prices on glasses. I believe you can either use their independent optometrist or bring your prescription with you to purchase glasses there.

I'd still like a 2011 something but bought a P226 instead...I have thought about AllenM building a Nighthawk double stack but haven't made the call.
Different strokes. For 9mm I am happy with my CZs, they shoot better than me and all have decent capacity. If I am going to shoot a big heavy 9mm I prefer my SP-01, although the Massada is not much lighter. But, money no object and if I win the lottery (and have Mcapo kind of gun money) anything goes.If a 9mm 1911 is good enough for Mark Stone and Bill Wilson; its good enough for me.
