I couldn't bring myself to watch any of it but it sounds like that should cause a little spike in AR sales.

There already has been a spike in gun sales due to all the gun control talk coming primarily from the left.

Those of us who remember the Obama years will recognize the pattern:

Gun Sales See Spike [STRIKE]Despite[/STRIKE]Because of Democrat Efforts to Slow It Down

Apparently, there has been a 15.5% spike in NICS checks due to recent gun control activity.

Beto's rhetoric might be diabolically brilliant. He knows "they" can't actually just "take" the ARs. He just needs enough people to believe that he can do it.

Kinda like people believed "We'll build the wall and make Mexico pay for it."

And, for that matter, "If you like your healthcare, you can keep your healthcare."

If he makes a serious move in the polls, we will know there is a much larger segment of the population that is really in favor of disarming

NYT made this tweet, then very shortly after deleted it.

    Seems like borderline libel.

Well, at least there was some after-the-fact fact-checking involved. Now, the NYT needs to learn how to verify information before they publish self-refuting info just because it might harm someone tied to Trump.
The book notes, quietly, that the woman Max Stier named as having been supposedly victimized by Kavanaugh and friends denies any memory of the alleged event. Seems, I don’t know, significant.

Geez. Apparently, I gave the NYT too much credit for being able to fact-check their own info above. Here is a later message:

The NYT deleted it because they were getting a lot of heat for the way they phrased the first paragraph.

People were raising the roof that the shenanigans described were phrased in terms as “they may seem like harmless fun”

They thought that part was trivializing the behavior that lead to an alleged sexual assault.

It also appears that the Democrats are gearing up to take another swing at Kavanaugh based on the revelations outlined in the new book.

Of course. Even if you can't impeach Trump, impeach Kavanaugh. Then defeat Trump at the polls, president Warren nominates a liberal, RBG steps down and prez Warren nominates another liberal and BOOM - a liberal activist court for a generation or more
