i took my mag spring out and pulled on it abit to stretch it out. i only have one mag and its loaded 24/7. it has seemed to work for now but is it gonna last or did i just weaken it even more?

You shouldn't have weakened it, no.

But if it wasn't "broken" before...then it didn't need messing with.

Magazine springs, as most all springs, are worn out with use.

Leaving the mag loaded 24/7 isn't a big deal.

the slide wasnt catching after the last round was fired. when i emptied the mag by hand the last bullet didnt have any spring like action out of the mag. thus pulling the spring abit to cure it. its tighter now and the slide will stay back when pulled back without having to push the lock up. havnt shot it yet, just did this a few hours ago.
