Because in the UK, people would find his accent lower-class and his manners boorish. Here the PBS/CNN crowd find him cultured and erudite.



For him anything over Airsoft is high-powered.

I think it has more to do with Piers having to face charges in the phone hacking scandal than people finding him low class and boorish. I'm not really sure that he cares if people don't like him.

We've decided to give you another pespective.
You are now the midnight janitor at a hospital,
And cashier at a "24 hour check cashing" place in the evening.
That is all the money you make.
And your bank account only has $150 in it.
You are responsible for rent, utilities, food, etc.
And your "ex"-bodyguards won't work for free.

You can meet your family.
They're at your new rented home in Detroit.
Any family members or friends (ha-ha) loaning you money will be placed in the same situation.
