I'd like to say that I'm surprised that NPR would sink so low. I'd like to say it, but I'd be lying.

Just another day in the trenches for the cesspool that is publicly funded radio (only a couple of percent these days perhaps but still...).

    Our tax dollars at work.

I thought is was kind of funny. We need to have thicker skin.

Thicker skin implies someone's feelings were hurt. The problem here is that NPR is ideologically left, yet they are funded by taxes.

Humor has long been a way to attack your opponents, political or otherwise.

Some things are funny just to be funny, others are funny, but just happen to be political first. Others are political first, with humor as the method.

Thickness of skin has nothing to do with it.

I really didnt find it too funny. I sent a email sayin if they were gonna make fun of tea-baggers make it funnier. The cartoon was lame. NOW the episode of South Park where Cartman was Glenn Beck. That was funny! I'm a big fan of GB as well.

I'd like to see NPR promote a similar cartoon about a "protected" group of people.

BTW, I do think this shows that the Tea Parties are getting under the left's skin.

I think a lot of angry folks on the left like to clench their fists in anger.

Maybe they can be referred to as Fisters?

Un thanks but no thanks ! :D

I'm mean cut me a slice of the profits if it works out but I can;t go on the record for that one.

Besides as you know, the alternate ending Sanchez would be miscontrued and twisted.

I thought the Tea Party was supposed to be non-partisan?

Sure, they're non-partisan. Tea Parties (if you can generalize about a movement without a centralized leadership) are about conservative/libertarian values, not a particular party. As one small cog, I'm happy to say that we're making the left sit up and take notice. IMHO, the left is hurting us more than the right.

If a Democrat wants to fight against large gov't, bailouts, socialized medicine... then he'd be welcome to fight alongside the TPs.

BTW, according to Webster, partisan is defined as "a strong supporter of a party, cause, or person." By that definition, then Tea Parties are inherently partisan. They support a cause... but not a party.

Didn't the left make up the term "Tea Bagger" as a sly insult to people that finally demonstrated against the government?

I'd like to add up the IQ's and the resources (money, ability to work in different areas, etc.) of both sides and see who comes out ahead.

No Phil. Unfortunately they are using slang for a sex act to insult the tea party folks. Someone should get creative and do the same back.........

I found it a little humorous. And childish and simple minded. Also typical of the left / Liberal way of thinking. Liberals - those that preach tolerance but practice none.

I feel most people regardless of political affiliation would agree that health care has some serious problems. The difference is the majority of people (according to the poll's I have seen) don't want to approach health care reform in a socialist manner. If you disagree with the Obama method you are going to catch flak. That is how this administration (and its legions of sheep) plays.
