    Or your next BBQ gun...

I saw a blued one at the gun show in Salem this past weekend, but this...
    Wow!
The blued with gold trim was around $650 I believe.

    Like it?
    Hate it?
    I can't decide.

If they made one without the rail, I might just be all over that. :rockwoot:

    OK Here's the blued version.

This is the one I would be more interested in if it was non railed.
But I would still hate to carry it...

I don't really think that the Para 1911's with the gold trim ever caught on.
This may not be a good move by Taurus.
    Who knows.

Guns of that configuration, in 38 Super, as that on is chambered in, are popular in Mexico. Not sure why it would be correlated to New Orleans or to Pimps. Its very common to find polished 38 Supers with mother of pearl gips in the collections of 1911 owners too.

I saw a taurus 1911 in a pawn shop last year with gold accents. Did not look near as ghetto as that one, it was about 500 used and came with nothing. My buddy kept looking at it, I kept saying "look a mosin!"

I think its cool but wouldn't own one. I have the regular blued pt1911. the blued one with gold trim is uglier than the chromed one with gold trim!

This one or the blued one, chambered in .45, yeah, that would work as a BBQ gun, but that's about it. BBQ guns are supposed to be about bling, though I'd probably do the blued one before I would the chrome/stainless/nickle/whatever.

"Yo dawg, we heard you like to OC while you 'q, so we put some bling on yo' piece so's you can OCQ."

Excuse me, I need to go read a grammar book so I can actually sound like I finished higher than the fifth grade. :n00b:
