I'm definitely an OD guy. Tan seems out of place to me in normal Indiana climates. Though this summers drought would definitely make the tan fit in.

When I start building my AR-15 collection, I plan on using Foliage Green (FOL) exclusively for the furniture and for anodizing the receivers and any other parts I can. Steel parts will be getting high temp paint when I find some FOL colored HTP.

I might come back with some digital stencils to hit the FOL base with some tan, brown, black, white, OD accents to break up the sea of color, or just add air-brush-like diagonal streaks, but the basic platform I'm looking for is monochromatic FOL.
