Dunham's has some great deals when they have their sales. I've seen them as low as $79.99. Normally they have 8-15 in stock. They a little more for laminated stocks or hex receivers when they have them.

Another vote for Bradis, they usually have 30 or so. If you have a smartphone make sure you check 7.62x54r.net while you are looking to answer any question you may have. I ended up getting an early 20's Tula hex receiver 91/30 that is awesome. Best of luck and you won't regret it.

    As said above. Bradis.

I just picked up my first Mosin 9130 week before last from Bradis. They had probably 50 in stock to look through. I found four or five with hex receivers. I chose a 1931, all numbers matching, with a near perfect chamber and rifling. Came with all the accessories. You might be able to get them cheaper elsewhere, but I liked being able to look through a large selection of them to choose a good one. Be careful, there were 3 or 4 there that had the end of the muzzle counterbored at some point. (Probably done at the armory as a fix to a damaged or worn muzzle.)

My plan is to build something with it similar to the sporterized 9130 that Iraqveteran8888 did on youtube.

    Good Luck.

You do know you are asking for trouble, don't you?

Once you have one, you are going to want more.

I have so far resisted the urge to get more... but I feel the will power is slipping.

Ended up watching some WWI footage this evening on the Military channel....

    Lots of Mosins....

The history of the rifles is just part of the fun of owning one.

Good luck, have fun, and enjoy.
