Where do I start?
My daughter is 8 and a half. We're building a new house that will be done in August (I hope!). My father in law bought a swingset kit from Menards and dropped it off at my house. He then decided he wanted to get one from Sam's Club instead so I had to return all of the stuff to Menards. We had to check in every single board in the lumber yard. We got the money back and then I went to Sam's and bought one they had.
I think it's king of a waste of money to begin with as old as my daughter is. I figure in another 1-2 years, she won't want anything to do with it. On top of that, I've got all kinds of things I could be doing to my new barn, house, woods, etc. that I don't really want to mess with this thing. My wife has been bothering me for the last 2-3 weeks about getting this thing up. Last Sunday, we got the spot cleared out for it. It was all briars and vines.
Today, we spent almost 12 hours working on this thing and it still isn't done. Luckily, it was all precut and numbered. Unluckily, if I said there were fewer than 62 million pieces, nuts, bolts, etc., I'd be exaggerating. A couple more hours and I should have it finished.
