I listen to songs that have a good motivational rhythm. My current mix includes groups like:

    AC/DC
    Motley Crue
    Evanescence
    Breaking Benjamin
    Stevie Ray Vaughn

There are others I just can't think of them right now

Rage Against the Machine always helps get my blood pumping. Red Hot Chili Peppers does the trick usually too. My gym usually plays Disco music or some techno music, so my Ipod is a must. Just can't find the motivation with "Stayin Alive" for some reason.

I get no enjoyment at all out of Techno music...but I do find that it holds a pounding beat that helps me keep pace for a lot longer than the normal 3-5 minute song.
Most of the ones I have are no shorter than a 15 minute stretch. That helps...because otherwise I'm like "Oh...'Welcome to the Jungle' is over? That's it for me then..."

...and a Guns n Roses list... Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child o' Mine, and You Could Be Mine

I like all those, but I can't use "Sweet Child o' Mine" to get jazzed up...
A long time ago I used to sing it to the MiniJet as lullaby. Can't picture it as anything else now.

What. The lyrics are perfect. And it has made me the coolest mom evarr (when I'm not being the meanest mom evarr...it waffles).
