    If you have a PO box or know someone that does, you should get them to go ahead and send the check then have some fun with them.

    My thoughts exactly. Go ahead and have them send you a check and then take it to your bank and have them call it in to verify it. It could take awhile, but it would be interesting to see what happens. However, I wouldn't act upon it until the bank verifies it and guarantees it's authenticity. (We know that won't happen.) :)

    This scam makes craigslist pretty much worthless, everything I've tried to sell in the last year or so usually gets this scam spam and it is just not worth it. Not surprised it's on Armslist now.
