Do they make an intelligently engineered defense/utility light that I can comfortably clip to my pocket every day?

Do they offer the same output and run time as a Surefire?

Can I trust them to remain waterproof while kayaking, fishing, or fighting flood waters?

Can I smash someones skull with one and know that it will work afterwards?

Can I bust out a car window when the door is stuck to rescue myself or others?

Can I drop it on concrete, drive over it, and know that it will still work?

Can I be sure that if I do manage to break it, they will replace it for me free of charge, no questions asked?

I'm not saying the LED Lenser is a bad light, but Surefire is the industry benchmark for a reason. Honda Accords and BMW M3's are both cars, but they are in completely different universes when you truly compare them.

I would really like to hear more about the skull smashing.

Heck of a first post. :D

    Welcome to INGO. :ingo:

Thanks, been looking for a new light and found this and it went in a direction I wasn't expecting. Didn't cross my mind you had to take skull smashing into consideration when buying a light. Just want to hear the ins and outs of using your light as a weapon.

You can take a flashlight with you into places where you're not allowed to take a gun and a knife.

So in cases like that, you should have a dependable flashlight that can take the abuse, just in case you DO have to "smash in a skull".
