I bought the 8oz from Bradis. Used it on a never shot RIA tactical before I ever took it to the range. It cleaned a small amount of carbon from the barrel and slide from the factory testing. Shot 200 rounds though the pistol, no failures. Cleaned it for the second time after the range. It did a decent job of cleaning. Seemed to take longer to clean the barrel with this stuff than hoppes. So first impressions are favorable but nothing to get excited about. I heard rumors that this worked well on rust. So I tried it on a .22 rifle that my neighbor had. I was suppressed at how well it worked. It wont take out pitted rust but it sure does a job on surface rust.

Just my opinion on CLP type products in general, they usually do one thing well and the other two so so. For example if a CLP is a great cleaner then it usually isn't so great at lubrication. Just my opinion.

So I will rate this stuff on my limited experience on what it does best to least.

    1. Rust remover, excellent. So Im guessing its going to really shine as a rust preventative.
    2. Lubricant, for a dry lubricant it works pretty well. Will have to really stress test it and try it in cold conditions before I know just what it can do in this department. So far so good.
    3. Cleaner, does a decent job but not its best attribute.

Would I recommend it, yes. Do I think its a magic bullet, no. Time will tell just how good it is. But its certainly worth a try.

Just wanted to add that I used this stuff on a ammo can that had some pretty significant rust. I guess I should have taken before and after pictures. It removed some heavy rust. Put the Super Quick Clean on very heavy and let it set over night. Highly recommend to take rust off of metal.

Purchased two bottles at the July show. Have used it on an old shotgun barrel that had a ton of surface rust. and on lever gun. No rust on the shotgun barrel and lever gun is very smooth. Rust should have returned to barrel by now, but none has. As far as long term effects, don't know other than it is made of nothing synthetic and contains nothing corrosive, so my guess is that it won't hurt anything with moving parts or that is made of metal.

Just heard about this product today at a gun show and was surprised to see there is a thread from two years ago. Will get a bottle and see how it works.
