+1...... but I don't think that would ever come to pass in our lifetimes.

Really? It's come to pass in a lot of other places. Idaho, Utah, and Colorado all stop public colleges/universities from interfering with second amendment rights. This has all been in recent history. That "it'll never happen in my lifetime" is used by a lot as an excuse to not do anything. ;)

Heck, it's probably not going to make it out of committee this session, but Indiana State Senator Jim Lucas has pledged to bring the legislation up every session until it passes to stop the ban of firearms on significant portions of public property, including campuses and the statehouse. He's not alone in his support either.

I went to a university in the Indy area to finish my degree and carried a Glock in my book bag the entire time.
I just carried it and NEVER said a thing about it.
    Had no trouble.

It's someone's policy that they're allowed to escort me anywhere?

My rights trump policy. They didn't raise a stink about it. Let them leave on their own (to avoid trespassing), don't touch or guide them anywhere.
"Escorted" means that they just made sure she left the property, likely just followed her. IUPUI would just ask you to lock handgun up in a lockbox and continue on with your day, back when I worked there. Same with visitors.

If you believe the liberal narrative (I don't but they are the ones saying it, so why not use it against them), 1 in 5 female students (that's 20% - a HUGE percentage!!) on college campuses will be raped or sexually assaulted. So anyone or any institution that bars women from having the means to protect themselves against what is almost certainly going to be a bigger, stronger, and since he's already intent on criminal behavior, likely better armed man who wanted to rape or sexually assault her is clearly a WOMAN HATER and therefore is complicit in perpetuating this very alarming trend.

It it's really true that women are assaulted this frequently, they should be REQUIRING female students to purchase handguns as they enter the university. The school should be offering "Defensive Handgun Use 101" for female students.

Since they are not doing any of those things, clearly those in charge at Indiana state-funded universities are women haters and need to be fired!

If anyone is anti-female, it's the libtards. Of course, they try and peddle that as being 'pro-woman'.

Why anyone would believe that just proves how stupid libtards actually are.

BTW, to all the libtards: I have some REALLY nice ocean-front property for sale in Arizona, only $10,000 / acre. Perfect for your weekend 'getaway' from the 'evil conservatives'! Call today: 1-800-suckers! :lmfao:
