Went out found nothing but quicksand and a talking dead deer corpse. Sank up to my neck, but fortunately my feet hit the bottom. Something down there grabbed me and pulled me under. GGlluuuuuggggg...

Found 68 this morning. Blacks and a couple pop ups. Weird, this is the first I have found this year and a lot of the blacks were already on their last leg. Vigo County.

I found five little grays about the size of the tip of my pinky today in Boone county. I'll give them a few days and see if they grow up a bit.

First time out 60-65 today, left prob. 20-25 small ones for next weekend, covered them with leaves so they don't dry out... Was soaked when I got home...

Got about 2 lbs. yesterday, been a good year so far. I covered quite a few yesterday, and really glad I didn't water them with all the rain we got today. Gonna head back out in a few days and see what's there.
