18-22" by Wednesday night for us, on top of what we already have. Not calling for ice up here though, which is a good thing.

For the Lafayette area, from what I’ve gathered from data I’ve read:

By Wednesday evening: 8-12” of snow with approximately 1” of ice. Heavy winds with gusts up to 40mph. Difficult to near impossible travel Wednesday morning.

Working the ambulance Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday. It could be interesting.

I'm scared to predict, but I'm rooting on Btown getting rain only to start with. After that, I don't really care about inches of snow. Freezing rain and power outages are a PIA.

    HOLY :poop:!!!

When my son was born about 6 years ago, we got ~12"...That seemed like a TON.

These numbers are somewhat common for NWI and NCI. The counties/cities have a fairly good infrastructure in place to deal with it too. You just get used to it.

This has been a crazy year for us though. Last I heard, we had 80" or snowfall already this season. Aggar was right, time to get out the snowmobile, which surprisingly I haven't done yet.

I'd love to ride a snowmobile...I don't even know how far north I'd need to travel to even see one.

I do have a kickass quad that loves the snow though.:D

I predict some people are gonna be screwed because they arent prepared for ****! but they live in indiana ??? figure that one out.

Can I borrow your shovel?:): IF the weather were to cause a week long power outage here then I can guarantee without a doubt that I will have the best shoveled sidewalk in the area. Two kids and their mom in a small house for an extended period of time would lead to some serious outside labor.

Note...I did not say it would be me doing the shoveling as I am smarter than your average 2nd grader:D

You'd pretty much need to be in Michiana or all the way in Michigan to see sleds regularly. There's a pretty extensive trail system that we ride throughout MI. You can get from our house in Indiana, all the way to Grand Rapids without having to ever leave the trails.
