He might try to pin the theft on a certain 60-year-old female real estate agent.

There are enough details about the ammo that if a box is found I could Positively ID it over the phone, some specifics that would be hard for me to know if it weren't mine.


Also as big of a pain it is you might want to always password protect every electronic device

I'm not sure about the Amazon app store, but the Google Play store allows you to push apps to your phone/tablet even if it's not in your possession currently. There's an app called Plan B that will send the coordinates of the device when you send a text message to it. Not sure if the Kindle accepts text messages, my Samsung Galaxy tablet (Verizon 3g account) does. This may be something you could check into.
