Figured her campaign would self destruct before or early in the primaries. Just waiting for big money to move away at this point and it's over for her. The clinton's will do well in the dc machine though, even political hacks like carol browner can make 5 million a year in a dc law/lobby firm. People whine about the 1%, you'll find a lot of it in dc, leadership getting richer every day courtesy of your tax money.

Why else would they be there.

It's to early to really tell anything, There has not yet been a Democratic Candidate Debate. To many times a "front runner" had made a bad showing in a debate and ended the campaign. Hillary has not yet put Bill out to rally support, and although I don't like him, he is a force to contend with in the process. I suspect when she is in real trouble Bill will be on TV every day pushing the idea that Hillary can replicate his success in the Whitehouse. He will use his friendship with the Bush Family to make the Clintons look like they are the ones who can work across the isles, And a lot of people will bite. JMHO. I also don't think Trump will be the Rep candidate...

A good political attack ad would be to post bill's news conference denying having sex with Monica Lewinsky, and hilly's claim that she did nothing wrong with her e-mails.

Obama is a socialist, and so was Bush. Sanders has the self-awareness to call himself what he actually is.

He would be a fine president. Better than Obama. Better than Clinton. Better than Trump or the next Bush.

Take a wide enough view and the argument can be made that all government is inherently socialist. I want a government that actually does the few things it is supposed to do. Right now the Republicans spend all their time in office breaking the federal government so they can spend campaign season talking about how broken the government is. The Democrats only offer one solution: More government.

Look at Sanders' voting record...he's been on the right side of a lot of important votes.

Sanders is a flawed guy, a human being...he isn't the devil...and he's a known quantity. Heck, I think the last 6 years would have been better with Bernie!

It turns my stomach to see people in America so easily accepting socialism and socialist candidates. I saw an idiot with a "Bernie 2016" sticker on his car today.

I agree. But I'd also bet many of the people doing the ridiculing back then would have thought nothing of blindly supporting their Union's endorsed slate of Democratic politicians, which was usually little different in terms of policies. Socialism has always been around, at least back to the 1800s here, the trick was just finding the right name to call it.

You know what a Democrat (usually) is? A Socialist without the votes.
