As somebody that doesn't want another democrat to win again, I hope she is the candidate. Somebody like Biden would be tougher to beat. He's likable. Hillary's not. Like it or not, a lot of people choose their candidate based on how well they like them as a person.

I don't think Pochahontus Warren is completely out of it yet by any means, unless there is some deadline that I am not aware of. I think given enough time, and enough pushing coupled with Hillary going down in a blaze of glory may encourage her to come in at the last minute to grab the "new kid in class" ratings bump and breeze right into the nomination.

she would pull ALL of Hillary's voter base and a good bit from Sanders too as he is currently seen as the only real alternative to Hillary.

hell, I was telling everyone 0bama was goin to get the nomination a year before he did simply because he was black and people were going to vote for that alone.

Watch for Warren to enter the race late and scoop the nomination.

It won't matter if (yeah, pipe dream, but stick to the hypothetical) she is frogmarched on camera, CA, NY, MA, IL, MN, and the entire northeastern seaboard will voter for her.

Bernie is exactly what he ought to be: bringing up issues that need to be addressed. Whether you agree with him or not (and I agree/disagree based on the issue), he's talking about real topics that affect many of us. His stance on Citizens United alone is worth listening to.

Truthfully, I'm past the point where I want politicians talking about vajayjays, Jesus or homosexuals. If that is the grist of the republican party, they'll lose.

And openly describing yourself as a socialist is a total winner?

I don't think Bernie has a real chance at the nomination, but he's a decent guy and sticks to his positions. He can call himself anything he wants. The issues are real. If people can't get beyond that word and listen to what he is talking about..... and they probably won't. The ignorance of the electorate has always been problem.

I'm for anyone who keeps the Clinton machine from moving forward.

Obama is a socialist, and so was Bush. Sanders has the self-awareness to call himself what he actually is.

He would be a fine president. Better than Obama. Better than Clinton. Better than Trump or the next Bush.

Take a wide enough view and the argument can be made that all government is inherently socialist. I want a government that actually does the few things it is supposed to do. Right now the Republicans spend all their time in office breaking the federal government so they can spend campaign season talking about how broken the government is. The Democrats only offer one solution: More government.

Look at Sanders' voting record...he's been on the right side of a lot of important votes.

Sanders is a flawed guy, a human being...he isn't the devil...and he's a known quantity. Heck, I think the last 6 years would have been better with Bernie!

As the veep? Holy crap? She would never survive a presidential debate and would be exposed, BUT she could end up helping Joe as his running mate. And Joe is old!

Joe is old enough that I would be highly concerned with who his running mate was in case he won. However I should point out that President Reagan was about 70 when he took office and I doubt he was in as a good of shape as Biden appears to be.

Yes, I do think Hillary will be the nominee. This is going to be a Clinton/Bush race. That's all it ever was going to be.

A lot that can be said for that, he does say what he believes and does what he says. Kind of how Trump is still in consideration, both are ruffling feathers that have not been for along time since the regular politicians just want to say what they think everyone wants to hear. He will run into too much opposition in congress to get a lot of the tax hikes and free stuff to everyone programs he wants done since he wont have the race card to play every other day when things don't go his way. Same with Trump, he is used to being in charge and would be in for a rude awakening as soon as congress balked at something. Just yelling at them wont help his case any, some members of congress have too much power and wont be afraid to swing back just to show they have a pair of balls.

Figured her campaign would self destruct before or early in the primaries. Just waiting for big money to move away at this point and it's over for her. The clinton's will do well in the dc machine though, even political hacks like carol browner can make 5 million a year in a dc law/lobby firm. People whine about the 1%, you'll find a lot of it in dc, leadership getting richer every day courtesy of your tax money.
