That's awesome. There's probably no safe way to conduct it, but wouldn't a test from "unholstering accident distance" be more instructive?

I thought about it. But came to my senses on the way to my range. I really thought the 22 would go through from the rifle. I kept thinking about it on every return trip to the house for "more gun". I came to my senses on the way back to the range every time. I kept remembering getting hit with slashback from my steel at 3 yards. I will leave anything closer than I did to those more brave than myself.

I would rather have a composite toe boots, steel is way to cold in the winter.
