    Where's the bacon?
    28!

    AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO

    FL, GA, ID, IN, IA

    KY, LA, MI, MS, MO

    MT, NH, NC, ND, OK

    PA, SD, TN, TX, UT

    VT, WI, WY

States in blue recognize our LTCH as valid in their state, subject to obeying local laws.
States that remain in default text color recognize our LTCH if the holder is an IN resident only.
States in green have Constitutional Carry.

Those that still do not recognize our LTCH are

    CA, CT, DE, HI, IL

    KS, ME, MD, MA, MN

    NE, NV, NJ, NM, NY

    OH, OR, RI, SC, VA

    WA, WV

States in yellow can be gotten with the UT CFP. Those in orange, with AZ's permit.

States in Commie red only recognize their own permission slip, if any.

    (This is as of 12/15/2011.)

    Blessings,
    Bill

Wanted to add that AZ will get you KS, NM, and NV, but not MN or WA. UT will do the reverse. Both will remove the prohibition to carry in DE, NE, OH, VA, and WV.

An important point to keep in mind: Not all states will recognize all LTCHs from here. As pointed out in this post:
    Before I forget!

Remember, one must be 21 for Wisconsin to recognize your Indiana LTCH.

I know we have many young bucks here at INGO so 18, 19 and 20 year olds, be advised.

some states deny the RTC/RKBA for their citizens under the age of 21. One recently changed it TO 21 from 23 (Missouri, IIRC), and another state, WA, denies us recognition solely because we issue LTCHs to those under 21. (Never mind that they would not be valid in their state, the fact that we don't forbid them to carry in OUR state is cause to deny recognition.)

I have not made a study of which states allow carry only by persons aged 21-and-older. Please, before you travel, if you are under that age, do check and ensure that you are legal to carry.

I am not a lawyer, and this is not legal advice, but I do consider it prudent.

    Blessings,
    Bill

thanks for the info, i believe that IL will come around and offer a carry law for both IN and IL. As one of the Representives said if we had a carry law maybe the criminals would think twice about acting out any criminal offense against a civilian...

Right now, I hold a IN LTCH and a UT CFP. With those, I can carry (at present) in 34 states legally:

AL, AK, AZ, AR, CO, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA,
KY, LA, MI, MS, MO, MT, NH, NC, ND, OK,
PA, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, and WY on my LTCH (I'm hopeful that WI will honor ours also)
My apologies if this was covered later in this thread, and if it was, I missed it.

By what I have read, you MAY carry in Wisconsin with your Indiana LTCH.

You are correct, and yes, it's covered later in the thread. That post was from July. :)

    Thanks for posting!

Can't wait until my first trip to Wisconsin when I get my LTCH. Carry weapon thru Indiana. Unload weapon and put in case upon entering Illinois. Carry again once I cross into Wisconsin. :)

I don't want to remove the state to our west. I just want to change the color of it on the map. Orange would be a start; not recognizing our LTCH, but having something like it themselves. Blue would be better.

Of course, the ideal would be to have the whole map be solid green and no need for anyone to worry about permits at all, let alone who recognizes them and who doesn't.

    Perhaps someday.

    Blessings,
    Bill
