My favorite manual is the new 8th edition of the Hornady Manual..it gives OAL with each bullet. You need a dial caliper to check your OAL..(Over all length). A caution when loading for semi-autos...if you feel very little resistance when the bullet enters the case beware. The bullet should have constant resistance all the way into the case. Some cases just do not resize or are too thin...do not shoot this round. With some of these low resistant rounds the bullet can be pushed deeper with your thumb..a very dangerous situation when shot through a semi auto as the bullet will get rammed deeper into the case on the ramp up and cause extreme pressure. Speaking from experience. K-boom!
