Going to see George Thorogood at the Star Plaza Saturday. Will my Kimber be welcome or should I try the P3AT?

Although their web page doesn't mention firearms...I doubt they'll greet you with open arms should they spot it.

Thorogood puts on a great show!

The Star Plaza is an excellent little venue; my wife and I saw Trisha Yearwood there a few years back. I'd love to see Thorogood in concert.

CC it and enjoy the show. They don't have metal detectors nor pat anyone down.

If it were a Ted Nugent concert I'd say carry a 10mm OWB. You would be invited back stage and invited on a hunt

For certain concerts they do pat downs. Of course it's been a few years since I've gone to a concert there. I do remember a pat down at the door for Megadeth.

I would go with deep concealment.......with that size of a crowd in a crowded place, staying incognito is not a bad thing.

Been there several times, usually for Sesame Street, I *think* they have a no guns sign on one of the doors.

I've never seen any security there but haven't been to any shows that you would expect it either.

No, I wouldn't OC there at the same time I didn't try very hard either.

CC my 45 xd at the star 5 yrs ago...while in the restroom someone must of tattled....before i got to my seat security stopped me...manager came soon after...was pretty cool..just worried about someone lifting my gun while i was enjoying the show...no drama....the CRUE rocked!

Thanks for the replies. I took the 3PAT and feel I could have taken any weapon. No metal dectectors, no pat downs, no issues.
Thorogood still rocks!!!!!
