Alright, I brought out the mechanics classes in my past and figured out a single style adapter that will allow the post brackets to be used and still have the bracket covered by the target on the following:

    8" squares
    10" squares
    12" squares
    14" squares
    16" squares
    8" rounds
    10" rounds
    12" rounds
    14" rounds
    16" rounds
    45% IPSC - old style
    66% IPSC - old style
    100% IPSC - old style

Give me a few days to make a few and test 'em out....

Will these work with the spongebob targets?

The adapters will work for any size target provided the hole spacing on the target is no larger than 15", BUT at this time I can only guarantee the above listed sizes will cover the bracket and protect from direct hits.

    Clear as mud?:dunno:

Looking at the pics in the linked thread, if the holes are spaced properly I think the bracket would be covered by the spongebob targets, I'll start saving my pennies to afford a stand and spongebob target by the spring

The nice thing about custom targets is....we can move stuff to make it work;)

    Wouldn't even need the adapters.

I'm trying to figure out if I can adapt my target to mount the bottom part without getting off my butt and going outside to look at it:dunno:

    Kimball,

At what angle will the targets be held in these stands? Any way to get a bracket that will hold a 66% at a 30 degree downward angle?

Will you have them with you at the 1500?

That's the plan. First come, first served at the show. Not sure how many I will be able to get done by then.:n00b:

You can always pay now and I will hold for pickup at the 1500!

    Kimball,

At what angle will the targets be held in these stands? Any way to get a bracket that will hold a 66% at a 30 degree downward angle?

The angle is 10° maybe? It is slightly adjustable depending on the weight of the target and how tight the bolts are.

I am working on a 30° mount, but my initial design died in the fabrication stage as I was unable to find a viable source to roll some material I needed....If anyone knows someone who can roll 1-1/2"x1-1/2"x1/4" wall angle the super hard way, let me know....it is too small for everyone I know. A new design is only some alone time away.

Finished 20 brackets and 12 stands today....starting to build up a little inventory...

I expect to have around 30 of each at the show.

What are the options for those of us who bought targets of the older design during your recent sale, since the hole spacing is not standard? Can we still get brackets and stands to fit our targets?
