I was at Gander Mountain in greenwood off county line road last night. They had 3 XDS handguns there. 2 black, 1 stainless finish. I purchased the black for $599. I thought the stainless looked great, but too flashy for conceal carry for me. I just wanted to pass this information on incase anyone else has been waiting too long for one of these to show up.

I just put a black one on layaway yesterday. I love my Shield, but the XDs is probably gonna end up as my EDC.

Both Highsmiths and Elmores had black ones as of 2 days ago.

You can make your own with the Old Faithful kits. Looks pretty fun and you have exactly what you want for a good price.

I got mine at Elmore's a few weeks ago at $525+tax I believe. They had quite a few of them at that time. Purchased a kydex holster at multiholsters.com.
