Has anybody been able to remove the end plate from the papoose stock without ruining it?
The one I had was held in by two phillips screws. I always wanted to find/make some type of pin to use instead of a screw so that I could use the hollow buttstock for storing a few handy things. Unfortunately for me the rifle and I fell out of our forbidden love because of the weak sights and I got rid of it. You could probably do the same thing with a take down 10-22 and you'd have a much stronger system in your hands.
