    Hb1511 was amended on the house floor today to say "where the light originates from" meaning if you are spot lighting on your property and the light shines on your neighbor's property then you will be legal. Amendment passed and now going to third reading.


    BTW.....I still believe there could/should be a Time frame during "DEER" season to allow the HONEST folks to enjoy the WILDLIFE of the STATE.....
    Say no shining after 10pm....just a thought!!!

    Spotlighting is banned in Kentucky and Illinois...for good reasons...I used to spotlight and video the deer at night so I understand but I agree with the proposal...ban it.

    I cannot help but wonder if this isn't to help identify those that are poaching. Someone that is lighting fields or tree lines up would be drawing attention to themselves. Didn't this once fall under harrassing wildlife?
