    Price your parts out individually from Carolina Shooter, rather than buying the complete kit. Also, you can fit a standard G2 trigger kit with a file, caliper, and a little time- no need to buy the converted fcg.

    As for the trigger guard, just modify your old guard. I ground my rivets down with a carbide bit, then drilled them out when they were about 1/16" thick- it was a very clean process.

    I don't know about the molot grip, but they are claimed to be one of the best feeling AK grips and CSS has them for $12!

    All in all, my total for the conversion came in just over $120
