*Lost Cause is the name history professors gave to General Early in his attempt to refocus the Civil War after Reconstruction.

I have heard of them and thought about looking into joining up but it is just another one of those things that fall into the not enough time to look into category.

I was just recently invited to join, I dont know anyone personaly yet. I did a lot of research on this group. its good to go

They are a good organization. I was contacted by a member here on INGO, and as far as I know, they will even help you with the genealogy work. I am looking into getting more info about a local chapter soon.

A fellow INGO member had a question and since I know about them through my reading I wanted to know what he wanted addressed.

I have been an Honorary Member of my local SCV Camp since 2000 and have just last night been admitted to membership having found a Confederate Veteran in my genealogy. It's a great group. I know when I was reenacting with the 33rd Virginia based in Indy that several of its members were SCV.

I just returned from a trip to tampa bay, and along I-75 in florida , and there was a GIANT Battle Flag and my son said that was their main ground in florida, Immpressive flag
