Like so many of us, too many hobbies not enough time. I picked this up a couple years ago with the idea to set it up for mowing and yard work. I mow with an x350 but figured this would be a fun alternative when I wasn't in a hurry. I'm always in a hurry I find. It starts right up and runs and drives fine. I picked up a model 47 deck for it, but haven't went through it yet. I know the deck will need bearing and other attention.
I replaced a few parts here and there, took the body off and replaced the fuel line from tank to carb. It starts right up, has good power, variator functions as it should. Electric pto functions as it should. 4 speed, 3 with a granny gear. Comes with services manual, new drive and variator belts. Not perfect, but a nice machine for being almost 40 years old. Will be ready for a seat cover one of these days. And as stated before, I just bought the deck awhile back. It will need gone through most likely. Selling the tractor and the deck is a bonus.
$500. South side of Henry Co, near Knightstown20240521_175632.jpg
