    This may have already been said but I didnt read all the post, to be honest. Dont lace your boots as tight as they are now. I work outside almost all the time and have spent plenty of days outside in sub zero temps. I'm talking Northern Canada cold! I have learned that wearing a good pair of wool socks with liners and a pair of loose fitting uninsulated boots is the best. Wearing your boots to tight cuts off circulation to your feet and that makes you cold. Just let your body do the heating and you will be fine.
