Try your local auto repair shop that does tires as well. They usually have 5 gallon buckets of lead wheel weights laying around wanting to off load.
I'm working on my 10mm currently.
Just worked up a load for the 200gr WFNGC bullet. Got it upto 1257 fps avg 10 shot group. Still need to do accuracy testing and adjust it accordingly.
Now I'm working up a load for the 155gr XTP for the 10mm.
Picked up 100lbs of which 35 was scrap for $35 and then he had 100ish lbs of auto body solder. 82 of it was 30/70 tin/lead with a few lbs each of 40/60 and 50/50. Got that for a screaming deal of $70. Also been hitting the local antique stores and sales for pewter which so far has come out to 5/lbs. Im sure that average will go down as I get better on my hallmarks and haggling.
