Also, the flush fit magazine modification was done by Logman of the 1911 forum.

Agreed! I'm not either, mainly cause of their general size/weight, but the EMP's are a good exception

All over GunBroker for around $1000'ish - which is what I paid for my EMP40. The steel frame take a lot of the "snappy" out of shooting the .40s&w. Easy to conceal and rides great in IWB holster. As stated before, crazy accurate. Don't worry about scratching or holster wear The EMP is a 1911 redesigned around Concealed carry, not a range gun. Mine has scratches from concrete, steel and shingles as well as holster wear. The thing is so comfortable to carry that I do indeed carry all day. This is the gun that laid rest to my Glock 27 after 13 years of carry.

i just chated w logman....im sending one of mine off monday to the same thing done. the grip length was my ONLY gripe. problem soved
