Man, I'm jealous. I used to love to pick fresh cucumbers and tomatos from the garden. Just slice em up, grill a steak, maybe some sweet corn.

I'm south of Martinsville. Planted the first rows in mid Apr, then put a second set in the 1st week of May because some of them got frosted. We've already been pulling carrots too and have my wife has put up 20 pints of strawberry jam.

that's my standard capacity cooker. It's even NY Compliant, I can only do 7 qts at a time.

(I have a high cap American, but its too heavy for our smooth top range. )
