This was a gun carried by a CPD Officer on the streets of Chicago several years ago. It was originally purchased in 1990.
The action is tight and the trigger is SMOOOOOOOTH! The timing is impeccable on this weapon, and it is impressively accurate!
Cylinder, bore, and chambers are bright and shiny. A few minor handling marks that can be addressed with a bit of polish if desired (I left it as it was because each little mark adds a bit of character to a gun).
The only issue whatsoever other than a few handling marks is a small ding on the right side of the front sight. As you can see from the pics, it doesn't affect sight picture at all and, once again, adds a bit of character!
The target grips are in great shape because the officer used the Pachmayrs and kept the wood grips at home. The Pachmayrs are VERY comfortable and still in great shape!

No internal locks. No MIM parts. Made back when S&W was still focused on making cold steel instead of polymer shooters!
