Smith M&P shield 9

Does anyone have a Smith M&P shield 9 in stock. I have not been able to find one.

I looked for 2 months. Went to my lgs and asked to put my name on a list for one and they supprised me by getting one from overstock. Sometimes they dont display everything.

Like most folks you are going to have to put your name on the list at you lgs. I have the 9mm shield and it's worth the wait! I was lucky enough to go get one right when they came out and not wait for reviews! Great choice on my part.

I was at Blythes in Valparaiso last Friday and they had one. Said it was their best seller. I walked out with a XD so they still had it then!

There is one at Top Guns in TH on commission for $550... My Father told me that he saw it when he went to put his name on a list after shooing my Shield .40

I know demand is high on these but $550 is way to much. I bought my 9mm shield last week for $389 at a store here in Indy. It is brand new and came with 2 mags

Pretty much called everyone in central Indiana. No one has the M&P Shield, and only one gun shop has the Ruger SR9C and 2 gun shops have the Beretta Nano.

The Shield 9 & Glock 19..... Like finding a needle in a haystack. I have been looking for a 19 preferred the gen 4 but a 3 is cool for three weeks...found. Gen3 for 549, OUCH!!!!, gonna try and get them to throw in a ox of ammo to ease the pain. Happy hunting

Its crazy out there looking for anything. Been looking for 17 rd mags for my full M&P 9. Nobody has them.

I would rather buy from the shop so they get my money but I'm not going to wait on a list if I can find in sooner. This is to become my carry weapon so I don't see a point in waiting forever on it.

My LGS had one .40 and one 9mm Shield two days ago. They lasted about 5 minutes till someone bought them.

I think the S&W site lists $450ish as their retail price and with demand so high it's easy to pay quite a bit more.

My "loyalty" to giving my money to LGS stopped when they started price gouging and limiting quantities. I was lucky enough to get Shield several months ago for $400 even, but if I didn't have one now I would gladly pay at least $500 for one, it is worth it, fantastic little pistol.

Shield .40's are much easier to find.

Might consider the Springfield XDS. The price is coming down and they appear to be in ample supply. I have had mine for about the months and use it as my EDC. Nice gun that is easy to carry and shoots well.
