Just curious, but why would you use slugs designed to reduce penetration in a round that is already woefully inadequate in terms of penetration? I'd just like to hear the mindset behind it...

Smith and Wesson 642. It's not an ideal carry gun, but it's a hell of a lot better than nothing. I'm hoping to change this to a S&W M&P Shiled 9 in the near future. I think I'll wait a while longer to see if people start reporting feeding problems, jams, no-go-bangs, or whatever. If not, that'll probably replace the 642 as my smallest "go to" gun and the 642 will become a BUG exclusively. Hmm...might need an ankle holster....it never ends.
