Tapco makes complete gas tube replacements with the black polymer hand guard already installed. They even have a rail on top for optics if you so choose. You can find them on eBay as well.Norinco SKS
ATI folding stock
Tapco 20rd mag
Vortex Diamondback 3-9x40 scope
UTG tri rail cover (no issues... yet)
UTG shell deflector
Wasn't able to remove wood hand cover easily. I'm looking for a replacement that I don't care about destroying. I want to keep the current one intact so that I can have a complete original gun, if I choose.
Also, I know many people like keeping these rifles stock. I however said screw it. I like it this way and I'm the only one I have to please.
I've had my Yugo for quite a few years. It is a 59/66A1 made by Zastavia in 1968. I shot Appleseed with it last summer. That prompted me to get a stock extension and a cheek rest. It is still one of my favorite rifles.
I gave $139 for it in 2003. It was only like my second Mil Surp purchase. I sure wish I had bought a dozen of them that day!
