I guess its really no more stupid than parachuting or riding a motorcycle, and I don't frown on those activities. I can't wrap my head around that kind of theatrical demonstration to prove a product, though. Illogical on my part, I guess, but it just seems irresponsible. The same thing could be accomplished without a human being at risk.

Well for example he mentioned "especially the salespeople". You can't really put any more confidence into your words about a product than if it literally saved your life. Trying to convince the average joe to buy a $390 shirt on the other hand is a different obstacle.
