    Might want to check out their web site first before making the drive. Where you walk in at is only a counter top area and you will need a idea of what you want. They work behind the counter and go and get what you need from the warehouse. It's not a typical store where you can look around at much.

    I miss the "good old days" when you could roam the warehouse and handle and eyeball all the gadgets and gizmos to your hearts content. I guess someboby with sticky fingers ruined that.

    Like you noted in another post, it will be nice not to have to pay sales tax at Brownells anymore...hopefully.

    I was there today, got some bullets. The warehouse folks are losing their jobs with May 1st being the last day. They are not being offered jobs at Brownells. If they want to work for Brownells, they have to apply like anyone else. If they get hired, relocation is on the employee's dime.

    Not a lot of happy faces....

    I heard a rumor that some of the old employees were opening a new store. Has anyone in the New Have / Ft Wayne area heard anything about this?
