Just curious, but what is the expected price break with a CPO? And what makes it worth it to you to buy one over a used one you feel is good to go? Just curious.

Look up Midwest gun exchange in South bend. Also try Blythes (sp) they have a store in Valpo and another one in the NW. Both have web sites.

Its a couple hundred dollar difference. I'm looking to refinish a 226 in 9mm to use as a truck gun. I have a nice SIG, just wanting a beater.

Very cool, thanks for the reply. Any big plans with refinishing it? I wouldn't assume too much if you're looking for a beater but you peaked my interested. I have a buddy who has a 226 (not looking to sell) that needs some serious refinishing!
