Very TLR 6. I like it. I'd like it more if there was a light. I'm sure that's coming. I was upset with their decision to use a proprietary rail, but a 1913 would just be too big on this. Most pistols in this class just don't have a rail. I guess a proprietary rail is better than no rail.

The attachment in the picture below the pistol is the light version. 100 lumen light.

Doesn't look like you can have both at the same time...yet anyway.

Just saw that Sig updated the width to 1.06". That's a lot less appealing than the 1.0" they originally published. Still pretty thin but now between the 1.1" G43 and the 1.17" G26 and not under as they originally said. Not sure why the number changed.

How wide is 6/100th of an inch?

I hear what you are saying, it does sound inconsequential. The difference between a G43 and a G26 is only 7/100th of an inch. To me that difference feels pretty significant, much more than I would think based on it only being .07 inches.

    Glock 43 = 1.02" width
    Sig P365 = 1.06" width

    Glock 43 height = 4.25"
    Sig P365 height = 4.3"

    Glock 43 weight = 17.95 oz.
    Sig P365 weight = 17.8 oz.

    Glock 43 capacity = 6+1, +1 and +2 baseplates available
    Sig P365 capacity = 10+1, 12+1

I'm not gonna fret over 2 hundreths of an inch (nearly imperceptible) difference in width when I get 10+1 vs. 6+1. And the Sig is lighter.

I'm certainly with you. The capacity is why I'm excited about this gun. I just found it odd that Sig amended the width by .06 inches.

Here's the thing. 1.06" at the widest point, probably the slide stop, means very little if the rest of the pistol is 1".

They need to list the width of the frame and the width of the slide. That's all that matters.

A video I watched from Shot Show said they started shipping either yesterday or Tuesday. I don't know who will get them first (distributors or LEOs or whoever else) but we should start seeing them soon!

My guess and that’s all it is, the widest part will be in the grip where the rounds are double stacked.

The trigger will be the deciding factor for me.

Reliability will be the deciding factor for me. This would be a warm weather gun for me, so I've got a bit of time to listen to hear from Sig's uncompensated beta testers before I buy one. The trigger is probably decent, most major handgun makers put out pretty good striker fired triggers these days. If it's like a good P320 trigger, that would certainly work.

Ive never had a chance to shoot a 320 but have heard good things. I've put so many rounds through glocks over the years and that's what I carry on and off duty so the similarity and comparison of the pull and the reset are how I judge most other pistols.

This is a very true statement, and you make a great point. Sometimes what we consider "good" is based on what we are used to. You may hate the P365 trigger for example because you are used to the Glock trigger, but that does not make the P365 have a bad trigger, just not the trigger for *you*.

I think this leads quite often to the brand bashing we see so often of "brand X has a horrible trigger compared to my brand Y", which is total hogwash for the most part. That person is just used to brand Y's trigger, and that becomes the gold standard for them.
