Just got a good used Sig 226 40 Cal. it has the DAK trigger system, all my other semi autos are single action, been dry firing it this morning, I think I will like it but there is going to be a learning curve involved, anyone have any advice on mastering this type of trigger system.
Mike,
It's similar to a double action revolver, only better. I had shot mine in IPSC for several years before switching to the 320. It is a learning curve, but I would recommend A LOT of dry firing.
No doubt a good cleaning and lubing will help things also. If you really want to slick things up, get a Bruce Gray (grayguns.com) trigger kit. If you need help with anything, feel free to call me.
