Yes, grab the GSG instead of the Sig and save some cash. Same exact gun. They are fairly decent guns. The tolerances are not exactly tight and the sights could be better. Still a very fun gun to shoot.
I bet I paid less for my SIG 1911-22.
Picked mine up for $99 a couple of months ago during the Midwest SIG sale.
Very impressed with it.
And if you want one, you had better hurry.
I heard that SIG is going to stop importing anything in from Germany and concentrate on US production only.
I actually had already picked one up at a gub show on Saturday and justed wanted to,know how people that had one liked them. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but I'm itching to get to the range.
Congrats on the new gun and welcome to INGO! Be forewarned that your GSG 1911 magazines , like the grip frame are made from Zamac and while heavy in construction are brittle as this metal is very crystalline and can break or chip if dropped or struck even moderately hard.
Finally got to shoot it yesterday. Great shooter. Picky on ammo though just like I expected. Did well with CCI and not as bad as i thought with some cheap Federal.
