Honestly, if you are a beginner in reloading. I suggest you go with a single stage press at first. There is a less likely chance of you making mistakes. As you can only do one process at a time. IE: Resize, charge, etc.

Good advice. I've been reloading over thirty years and still use single stage presses. Of course I have several and they are set up so that each press does a certain stage, kind of like an assembly line. About as fast as a turret press but this way I get inspect the round at each stage and most important to me is be able to use a reloading block to check the powder levels so if I'm careful no squibs or overcharges.

I started on a Lee Turret press - then to a Hornady LNL. Depending on your volume and how much time you want to invest. I have a Lee Classic turret press and a LNL on my bench. The Lee press is good in that you can see one operation at a time. Dies are in the turret which moves. The one bullet you make is on the ram. Many places sell the Lee and accessories.

Actually am wanting to order the Hornady Classic Press Kit and the Hornady LNL AP press. The kit is 299 and the LNL AP is 379.

That way I could use the single stage press for learning/rifle rounds but once I get a comfort zone, begin reloading pistol rounds on the LNL AP while keeping the Classic single stage in service more for rifles.

That's how my uncle did/does it and he is my go to in person contact. Unfortunatley he is also is in WV, so I ask y'all too.

The kit would give me everything I need to get started right away (ordered dies with it). Then as I get a proper bench setup, would like to keep both of them going.

I got the Hornady LNL for that price a few month back when Midway was running a sale. It's been a few thousand rounds and I'm extremely happy with it.

Previously, I had a Dillon SDB and a Lee Turret. FWIW.

You'll need to add a shell plate to that. Probably some sort of expander die or powder through expander thingamajig as well.
