That sort of makes sense...walk in, pick up a ski mask, a gun, ammo (if you're lucky), and a couple large duffle bags to carry the loot...then announce it's a robbery. Oh, and a six pack of your favorite beer for the ride home.
Great place to hole-up and take hostages too. You could live for years in there...probably better than any police negotiating team sitting outside in the cold.
But on a serious note...hope this turns out well for all involved.

Situation at Lawrence Walmart a "Big Misunderstanding"
By Stan Lehr
1/8/2010
There was a scare for shoppers at the Walmart Supercenter at 10735 Pendleton Pike in Lawrence. Suspecting an attempt to rob a Woodforest National Bank branch inside the store, police with guns drawn quietly waved those shoppers outside. But it turned out to be a misunderstanding.
No charges were being considered immediately, but that may subject to further investigation. Detectives were questioning a man who approached a teller, claiming he was being held against his will.
Lawrence Police Chief Paul Whitehead says his officers also had questions for two people who accompanied the man. "They were in some fashion looking to get some money from him and we know that they may have used his debit card," said Whitehead who told reporters the man apparently owes a debt to the two other individuals.
Whitehead says none of the people involved were armed, except his officers who fired no shots. There was no attempt to rob the bank branch and no one was hurt.
911 operators got numerous calls from customers, as police surrounded the building.
Nearby Indian Creek Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution.
Yeah, I saw that on Fox News (National Coverage) while at lunch. Do you think they ever regret being the 1st to cover a "misunderstanding" where charges may not even be filed?
