This old Stevens/Savage Model 620 was issued in the late 30's to the military as a riot control weapon. It has the the U.S. stamp on the left of the receiver. Other than installing a recoil pad it is still an original and functions flawlessly. The shorter barrel makes for a great home defense weapon.

Decided to see what kind of a HD gun I could build on my limited budget. Eventually I plan to build a more high end gun but I thought I'd use this one to help figure out what I like. Didn't turn out too bad for under $400 total.

Benelli SBE II with a Nordic 10 shell extension, speed handle - eats anything and make 3 1/2" OOO Buck feel like low recoil 2 3/4" OO Buck. Most reliable semi-auto I have ever fired.

Mossberg 500 12 gauge. Stock so far but once funds get replenished a little bit I'll be hitting up TacticalShotgunner.com for some new toys for it. Looking through this thread gave me some ideas on what I want to do!
