    I *think* it has to be shorter than 16" too, but I am just talking off the top of my head. and it is pointy.....:dunno:
    If the barrel is under 16in it is also a pistol, but any gun made or modded to fire with one hand is a pistol.


    Lets see, the non licensed non-LEO person:
    1) has possession of a handgun (you handed it to him)
    2) Is not in his home or fixed place of business (you're at the range)
    3) Does not have a LTCH
    Kinda looks like a violation, no matter how unlikely it is to get caught.
    If that was the "law" then anyone at a gun store with out a LTCH would be breaking the law.
