I like Oakley half jackets. Lenses are easily swapped out, they are rock solid on my face. I don't have to worry about them sliding down my nose or anything like that when it gets hot.
Another plus is you can get just about any combination of tint/impact protection for them.
I just use safety glasses. Have tinted for bright daytime use and clear for inside or lower light use. I am just too hard on glasses to spend the big bucks on them.
With that being said I have never used a set of Oakleys so I can't knock them.
Low cost? Howard Leight makes shooting glasses with adjustable ear pieces. Getting a good fit, I find, is the most important part. Most manufacturers can figure out super-duper ballistic plastics and wrap-around protection. But if you need to customize the fit, you usually have to pay more. ESS has a line of eye shields that offer a certain degree of customizability.
Also, if you might scratch up the lenses, you might want to get a pair that allows the lenses to get swapped out.
