This is similar to what I was thinking, but more along the lines that I like those electric eyes.

I appreciate all the comments so far. Barring anything changing once that velvet comes off, if I get the chance, I'll not pass and won't have a second thought about it at this point.

I've yet to get a buck with my bow. He would be an awesome first.

A couple things here come to mind, IMO he is 3-4 years old. Velvet is going to make him look bigger. Pressure is not high if it's just you and your buddy. What about neighbors? I would have a hard time passing him but what are you after? How do you want to manage your hunting area? I am hoping the ones I'm watching are still out there but gather guys I hunt with shoot deer thats it they don't care about management. Neither do the neighbors from what I can tell. Since its not my ground I can not say much other than to try and teach them better, I know when I get my own ground I would want to have some way of managing. It's hard to say if the deer pictured is a shooter or not but, any hunter would have a hard time just watching this deer walk by. Looks like your doing something right up your way!
